Adult Education at Dover Discovery Centre
The centre is surrounded by Dover's history. From the glazed crescent of the Children's Library can be seen the ruins of St Martin-le-Grande, and from the crescent on the other side of the building the remains of the gateway of the Classis Britannica Fort. Inside the building are more remains of the Classis Britannica Fort. Incorporated into the building is the frontage of the old Market Hall.
The Discovery centre, which opened on the site of the old White Cliffs Experience in 2003, is the first intergrated learning centre.
