Broadstairs Adult Education Centre - Bringing you Adult Education for 40 years
Broadstairs Adult Education Centre has a 40 year history of delivering a wide range of courses as well as being a centre for the Arts and Thearte, encompassing the Sarah Thorne Memorial Thearte, the hall of which Kent Adult Education, makes use of for dance and fitness classes.
One of our students undertook disco dancing classes in the hall during the 1990s, receiving her silver medal at the grand old age of 98, proving that it really is never too late to learn...
A regular visitor to Broadstairs from 1837 until 1859, Charles Dickens immortalised the town as "Our English Watering Place". Follow in Charles Dickens' footsteps by coming to Broadstairs, a well-known centre for creative writing students to develop their talents
