Our Bookbinding & Bookmaking courses will teach you how to restore your treasured books by binding using a flat back or round back case and how to trim a sewn book block using an electric guillotine. You will also be able to choose coloured endpapers and marble board papers to bring your books to life again. Our specialist tutors will demonstrate how to back a book block in a traditional lay press and will introduce you to the production of quarter leather binding and paring. Finishing off you will learn how to create a spine label with gold tooling using foil to perfect your upcycled book.
