This course will be taught in our Tunbridge Wells Centre - The Amelia Scott
Chinese characters are one of the earliest forms of written language in the world and are still in use today. There are more than 47000 Chinese characters that have evolved during history of China. From Small Seal Characters to Regular Script and now Simplified Chinese characters (Hanzi) used today in Mainland China, the art of writing is an integral of Chinese culture.
This course, Introduction to Writing Calligraphy, aims at giving opportunities to learn and practice simple Chinese characters to enhance your learning of the language and also provide a kinaesthetic learning environment. For those who are not learning Chinese Mandarin, this is an exciting course where you discover the art of writing current everyday life Chinese characters.
