Do you work in a business that requires a monthly CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) return? Then this 'CIS Returns - Why and How to Complete Them - Online Live' course in Maidstone is for you.
This one day course will explain the reasons that a return is required and will discuss how you would approach the completion of a return.
At the end of the course your tutor will be able to suggest your next steps, such as a recommendation to study a 'Sage - Introduction' course or an AAT Level 1 qualification.

How will I be taught?
Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including one to one guidance and group critiques to support you in achieving your goals. The course will be taught in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, which will try to cater for your individual needs.
Your tutor will provide feedback throughout the day. You will complete an end of course evaluation.

What can I do next?
You may be interested in a 'Sage - Introduction' one day course. If you are interested in taking a qualification in bookkeeping, you may be able to progress onto the 'AAT Access Award In Bookkeeping Level 1' or the 'AAT Access Award in Accounting Software Level 1'.
What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome to join this course. No prior knowledge or experience is required but you will be expected to have an interest or involvement in a business that needs to provide CIS Returns.
You will need to have access to a computer in order to join this course. Our computing courses are most suitable for the Windows® 10 operating system and Microsoft® Office 2016 software. If you have any queries regarding your equipment then please contact the Curriculum Leader.
You should be able to follow spoken and written instructions, read handouts/activities and take part in group discussions as required.
