It is particularly relevant for those in education, health, social services, a voluntary organisation, personnel or management.

See the link below which will take you to a video to explain various elements of the Counselling courses;

• Responding skills
• Deeper level counselling skills and processes
• The importance of therapeutic alliance to the helping process
• Awareness, acceptance and understanding of self and others

Students will also be considering self-awareness;
• Who am I?
• How do I respond to others?

• What more do I need to work on and where do I go for support with this?
• Some of the processes and dynamics of group work
• How to work with loss and grief

Please see "What do I need to join the course?" for instructions of how to apply.
