This course will be Canterbury centre, but should the Government impose restrictions we would revert to online, which has been very successful so far. The course builds on the Certificate in Counselling Skills, and students will study more of the main theoretical approaches to therapeutic counselling. You will learn how to take the next step in training to become a counsellor and discover more around counselling theory and agency work.
See the link below which will take you to a video to explain various elements of the Counselling courses with KAE:
As in all counselling courses, a large element of the work is based on practical learning and observation in skills practice and involves a real commitment to personal development and self-awareness; often the course continues to provide students with a life-changing experience.
Our Level 3 Counselling Studies Certificate CPCAB course:
• Enhances your theoretical understanding of counselling and continues to help you develop the skills and attitudes required to practice these diverse approaches.
• Encourages deep personal growth of self-awareness understanding.
• Enhances your ability to understand others and develops your ability to extend and appreciate the use of empathy in the therapeutic relationship.
• Enhances your ability to work effectively with equality and diversity, and work on your own prejudices.
• Further develops comprehensive research and reading and presentation skills within the group setting.
To be eligible for this course, you will need to have completed and be successful in obtaining Counselling Skills CPCAB Certificate Level 2. See More Details tab for how to apply instructions.
