This course is delivered online via Zoom with full interaction between the tutor and other students.
This one-day workshop will introduce you, by way of an overview, to key counselling theories and enable you to practice some basic skills needed when supporting others. The course is an ideal introduction and a good insight into further Counselling courses offered.
By the end of the day students should be able to:
1) name at least one of the three listening skills.
2) name at least one of the three core values that underpin effective listening
3) name at least one of the schools of main counselling theory.
