Crochet - Introduction

Learn the fantastic crocheted v-stitch, which includes two basic crochet stitches, chain stitch and trebles, giving you your first steps in this wonderful craft.

During your lesson, you will be introduced to the following:

How to hold your hook and yarn.
How to read a crochet pattern.
How to work from a chart.
Common abbreviations and crochet techniques.

After your lesson, you will have been shown enough crochet techniques to go home and start a project of your own, ie. a scarf, cushion cover, or even a blanket.

There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking.

How will I be taught?

There will be group and individual tuition and feedback.

What do I need to bring with me?

Materials and equipment will be provided, at a minimal cost (approx £2-3). Please pay the tutor direct. If you would rather bring your own, you will need any DK yarn (in 2 or more colours) and a 4.5mm crochet hook.
