This course in Ashford forms part of a series of sessions exploring mental health.

Learn how mental health conditions manifest and what the symptoms look like, what might be the causes and learn some practical ways to manage some of the symptoms to help you or those around you cope better on a daily basis. This course focuses particularly on understanding how events in our childhood affect our ability to manage relationships as adults.

By the end of the day students should be able to:
1) identify poor relationship patterns
2) understand attachment theory and how our attachment style affects relationships
3) recognise the symptoms and identify a new pattern of behaviour

This course is educational rather than therapeutic. General broad ideas will be shared and discussed amongst the group. There could be some sharing of personal experiences. This course is not a replacement for personal therapy and this element will be carefully managed by the tutor.
