One to one guidance and feedback is an essential part of learning and development, along with group discussions and informal critiques. You will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook/notebook to record goals, ideas, processes and progress. Later in the course there is an opportunity to explore a personal project allowing you the time to develop and interpret your own creative ideas. Assessment will be through one to one tuition and the ILP, Individual Learning Plan.
What do I need to have with me?
You should have an A3 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper and a variety of pencils (HB and 2B are ideal) if you have them.
During the course you will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Please do not buy anything until you are sure the course is running and the tutor will advise you on further materials you will need at the start of the course.
