This course will give you the opportunity to learn how to draw and colour realistic animal noses and eyes in coloured pencil. You will use a variety of different techniques and learn how to blend and create the appropriate textures, colours and detail for your subject. The techniques can then we transferred to other ideas and materials you use in other creative projects.
How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. You will look at the work of contemporary and historical artists and you will keep a sketchbook/notebook to record goals, ideas, processes and progress. You will undertake critical reflection and evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance/develop personal skills.
What do I need to bring with me?
A good quality A4 sketchbook and a set of coloured pencils. If you have an images of eyes and noses you would like to use please bring them with you on the day.
If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.

What do I need to join the course
An interest in producing beautiful and accurate drawings eyes and nose no experience in the subject is needed. All students are welcome on the course.
