Using a variety of coloured pencil techniques you will: Explore ways to portray both long and short fur in coloured pencil, Use creative colour mixing to create realistic fur colours, Work from your own or the tutor's reference photos.
How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. You will look at the work of contemporary and historical artists and you will keep a sketchbook/notebook to record goals, ideas, processes and progress. You will undertake critical reflection and evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance/develop personal skills.
What do I need to bring with me?
Smooth good quality cartridge paper or hot-pressed watercolour paper A4. Any coloured pencils you would normally use. Pencil sharpener. Eraser and HB pencil, if you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you
