How will I be taught?

This is an online course and you will learn and develop your skills in a friendly online environment. You will work on a variety of activities as a class and in small groups. Homework will be an essential part of the course.
An Individual Learning Plan of work (ILP) is developed between you and the tutor.

We recommend learners not currently working in the health and social care sector seek to have an opportunity for practical work in the community e.g. in a voluntary capacity, This will help consolidate what you will learn in class.

What do I need to have with me?

This is an online course taught on a virtual platform such as Zoom or MS Teams. You will need a quiet space to study, access to good internet connection, and a computer with camera and audio. Please also have a bilingual dictionary (this could be online), notebook, pens, pencils to hand. You may be required to keep a folder of your work. You can discuss this with your tutor.
