How will I be taught?
You’ll be taught in person in a classroom setting. There will be a demonstration after which, you’ll be working on your own under the guidance of your tutor. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and answers.
There will be group and individual tuition, and group and individual feedback.
What do I need to bring with me?
Students should budget £10-15 a week to buy their own materials. Some items (mechanics) will be available to buy in class (by prior arrangement), greenery and decorative materials will need to be provided by students.
For the first week you’ll need:
- dry flower foam block
- selection of dried flowers – you could use one type (eg wheat) or bring a selection - Worried about sourcing your dried flowers? You’re welcome to bring fresh flowers instead.
- box to put your foam inside – this could be a loaf tin from your kitchen, or a square basket
