Would you like to pronounce words better and have an accent that sounds more like to French? Are you struggling with Feuille/Fille/ Doit/Doigt mixing Vin with Vingt and more? Why do not join this mixed level course? This short Saturday course in Sevenoaks will provide you with an opportunity to put a little bit of VaVaVoom into your French! Your tutor will help you to improve your pronunciation. You will also work on intonation as words are not merely tools to convey basic messages, but sophisticated descriptions of emotional states.
French pronunciation might pose some difficulties for the beginner. Yet it is very regular, and once the rules are understood it is easy to pronounce each word correctly.
By the end of the course succsessful students will be able to:
- Identify and reproduce different and difficult sounds in French
- Pronounce Difficult Consonants (that are sounded significantly differently than their English counterparts)
- Use appropriate intonation to express yourself (rhythm, difference between statements, questions and exclamations, express emotions)
- Recognise the features of the French accent.
