This 'Ancient Greek Philosophy' course will cover some of the important Greek thinkers, their works and ideas and compare and contrast these with their contemporaries. Where appropriate, the influence of the philosophical ideas developed by Ancient Greek thinkers will be discussed as well.
How will I be taught?
Our teaching methods include lecture input, demonstration and practical work. Question and answer sessions are included and supportive handouts are issued as appropriate. If you have a disability and think it may affect your learning in the classroom, or using any of our other services, please speak to us in confidence as soon as possible. We will discuss options with you and do our best to provide the support you would like.
What do I need to bring with me?
You may wish to bring a pen and paper for note taking.
