Do you miss travelling to Italy? Would you like to have a virtual tour around some fantastic Italian places? The ones that are rarely or even not mentioned in brochures and TV programs?
Every lesson will be set in a different town, you will learn about exchanging personal information, enquiring about places of interests, making a comment about a monument, describing people or
In this 3 day course we will virtual tour around cities in Sicilia, Veneto and Marche.
You will benefit from being in a classroom, from exchanging face to face with a supportive tutor and others as you practise speaking and enjoy learning the language.
By the end of the course successful students will be able to:
* Introduce themselves in a virtual city setting
* Ask questions with: who/when/how long/what
* discuss local geographical references
* comment about the local products/landscape
Italian grammar will be revised/explained as required
You will be given small amounts of homework/ short researches each week (max 1hr) to reinforce classroom learning.
How will I be taught?
The emphasis in this course is on speaking and listening. The lessons focus on language that is required in authentic situations. To help you develop language skills the course will be conducted mainly in the foreign language. You will work through different activities individually, in pairs and in small groups, using a variety of learning methods and resources (role-play and games etc.).
What do I need to have with me?
There is no course book for these sessions. Students will need to have a pen and paper.

What do I need to join the course
This course is for students with some previous knowledge (at least they have to had attended Beginners plus courses of any type) or those who would like to strengthen or revise with the addition of learning more about some less known Italian regions.
The pace will be the one of a a new Intermediate course. If you are unsure please carry out our self-assessment test available on www.kentadulteducation.co.uk or in our Centres. The assessment provides a score to help you chose the best course for you. If still unsure, speak to us or to a Curriculum Leader.
