Functional Skills maths Entry 3/Level 1 qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their English or maths skills. Achieving these qualifications should increase candidates’ confidence and motivation. The skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning. The course will focus on both the underpinning skills as well as the ability to apply maths or English to different contexts.

Please note: This course will require an initial assessment, good attendance, high level of commitment and at least 2 hours of home study as set by your tutor.

Carly Edwards-Day is a qualified FS maths tutor who has worked in Adult Education for many years. With a wealth of experience in delivering to groups of all levels, she provides in-depth learning and self-study for all learners, providing information and guidance on such topics as initial assessment, examinations and extra support.
