There are two parts to this qualification Practical Peer Mentoring Skills and Theory Understanding Peer Mentoring. By the end of the course you will acquire communication, planning and review skills needed for Peer Mentoring. You will learn how to reflect on your own practice. You may build confidence to apply for relevant Peer Mentoring roles. This is a 10 week blended learning course with clear guidance to complete each learning outcome on Moodle with an online sessions every two weeks to be held on Zoom.
How will I be taught?
During the course you will take part in and observe group activities, presentations and discussions. You may be asked to carry out research online or in books. As this is a level 2 award you will be required to complete work outside of the class. Your tutor will provide you with feedback on your work and support to improve it if needed.
What do I need to have with me?
You should bring a folder, paper and pen.
