There is not better way than learning a language where it is spoken! This virtual tour of Poland will transport you and immerse in some of the cities selected where you have the chance to play an active part from the comfort of your home.
Virtual tours of museums, cities and places of natural beauty have been around for a while now, often being little more than an additional novelty to the overall visitor experience (nothing beats visiting in person), however, this one will have the added bonus of making you practise the language and put you in contact with others who may share the same interest.
By the end of the course students should be able to:
- Understand and use basic greetings
- Give and request personal details
- Say where they live and describe the location
- Order and pay for food and drinks in a café, restaurant or shop
- Use numbers and currency
And you will also gain an insight into the culture where the language is spoken.
How will I be taught?
The emphasis is on oral communication (speaking and listening) but some reading and writing will be included. Student participation will be through individual, pair and group work. The foreign language will be used most of the time.
What do I need to have with me?
Students should have with them writing equipment and an A4 ring binder for handouts. Unless details are outlined above, we advise students not to buy equipment, books or materials until after the first session.
What can I do next?
This course is for mixed level therefore a general suggestion for progression would not be appropriate. The tutor will advise.
We offer short series of Virtual tours. For all teh courses please visit www.kentadulteducation.co.uk
