Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Susana Garcia Flores
How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for you to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including: demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring an apron or overall to the lessons as clay tends to be a messy subject. If you have any pottery tools bring them to the first session but do not buy any equipment until you have spoken with the tutor. A notebook, pen and pencil will be useful for taking notes related to your object making. Clay, glazes and firing are costed by weight and the size of the item you make.
Please note this course is run at TN2 Community Centre.
What can I do next?
Further Pottery and Craft courses with KAE.
