In this sound therapy workshop in Broadstairs Library students will experience the therapeutic effects of sound, music and specialist instruments, combined with deep self-reflection techniques to improve health and wellbeing.
How will I be taught?
The workshop will combine experiential sound baths, discovery learning through practical activities, and a little theory. Tools used will include Himalayan singing bowls, quartz crystal singing bowls, gong, frame drum, and holistic voice. You will be given an overview of therapeutic sound as a tool for personal development.
What do I need to bring with me?
Yoga mat, cushion, blanket, and water.
What can I do next?
The focus of the workshop is an introduction to therapeutic sound. If you would like to delve deeper, you will be able to enrol on the 8 week course.
