How will I be taught?
The session starts with a safe and effective warm up. You will then learn moves through tutor demonstration, and practice as a group or with a partner to music. Notes are provided and the lesson will finish with a gentle cool down.
What do I need to have with me?
You will need supportive, comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Formal trousers, skirts or dress are not suitable for this activity. Circle skirts can be worn. A scarf to tie round your hips is advantageous but not essential. You should wear shoes with a soft sole (ballet pumps are best or dance trainers), alternatively you could dance barefoot. Sandals, boots or any footwear with a high heel are not recommended. You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately.
Please have water and avoid eating one and a half hours prior to exercising.
