Do you want to meet other weavers, share ideas and projects and get inspiration for your projects?
This is facilitated show and tell with space for peer learning and access to an experienced weaving teacher. This is a flexible resource designed to help you move forward when you have weaving questions, idea blanks, a need for assistance and direction or just access to a weaving community. Over the 4 times we meet you will see each other’s projects progress and gain valuable weaving connections. This works well as a stand alone short course or in combination with any other of the one of workshops I offer on specific topics.

How will I be taught?

Craft courses provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft to a higher level.
Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople.

What do I need to have with me?

A note pad and pen for taking notes and recording diagrams.

What can I do next?

Further online or centre based courses with the tutor Claire Bessel. She will be able to talk you through the courses she is running throughout the year.

What do I need to join the course

All students are welcome on this course who have an interest in yarns, colour and design in weaving and would like to take part in sharing ideas and talking to other like minded people where the tutor is a professional weaver.
It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.

You can access the class from your computer equipped with a camera and a microphone, from a laptop (where the camera and microphone should be built-in), a tablet or a smartphone. Before the lesson, the tutor will have sent you by email an invitation to join, which will be a simple weblink to click. The system is free and easy to use. Should you have questions about the required equipment, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone or by email. Instructions are also available on our website www.kentadulteducation.co.uk
