A Vision Board is a personal tool that you can use to help set personal and professional goals that you want to achieve.
During this workshop, you will learn how to create your own personal SMART goals and how to create a visual representation of your goals on a Vision Board.
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
Identify your own Vision Board themes
Create SMART personal and professional goals
Create a draft template of your own personal Vision Board
This course is educational rather than therapeutic. General broad ideas will be shared and discussed amongst the group. There could be some sharing of personal experiences but it is not a replacement for personal therapy.
How will I be taught?
The course will consist of a mixture of tutor input, group activities and discussion. The emphasis will be on participation and sharing of ideas. If you have a disability and think it may affect your learning or using any of our other services, please speak to us in confidence as soon as possible. We will discuss options with you and do our best to provide the support you would like.
This is an introductory course, so you are not expected to bring any knowledge, but we will be interested to find out how much you have gained from the course by the end.
What do I need to bring with me?
Pen and paper for notes might be useful. We will be creating a plan and draft version of your Vision Board so plain paper will also be useful.
What can I do next?
We are currently offering a whole series of courses exploring mental health. See our website at www.kentadulteducation.co.uk for further information or ask your tutor for details.
