How will I be taught?
Teaching methods will include demonstration, explanation, discussion and times for question and answer sessions. Your tutor will demonstrate exercises and routines and will talk you through all movements. Activities will be adapted to suit individual needs and capabilities. You will be carefully observed to ensure that you are working safely and be encouraged to monitor and record your progression on the course. Your starting point is recorded on an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and targets are set to help you develop your skills and reach your goals. These goals are revisited from time to time during the course so that you and your tutor can monitor and record your progress. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before the start of the course which must be given to your tutor at your first session. Your tutor will be happy to discuss any concerns before or after each session. All our classes are monitored for quality purposes and occasionally a visitor may attend your class to observe the teaching and learning taking place.
