How will I be taught?

Students will need to understand the potential benefit from the programme of study, read and interpret ideas, communicate responses that are clear, logical and understandable and manage your own time.

You will undertake critical evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance personal skills, this will be supported by an Individual Learning Plan.

Your tutor will give you individual feedback and assess you as you progress through the course.

What do I need to bring with me?

A notepad and pen and your own sewing kit including sharp scissors for cutting fabric, pins, needles, a tape measure, chalk fabric pencil, sewing threads to match fabrics; a tape measure. A digital camera is also useful.

For the first class please bring a piece of fabric to make a small bag – size approximately 50cms x 50cms (this could be cut from an old curtain or cotton garment) and a 20cm nylon zip (the tutor will have some supplies that you can purchase at the class).
