How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques. You will look at the work of contemporary and historical artists and you will keep a sketchbook/notebook and individual learning plan (ILP) to record goals, ideas, processes and progress.Students will need to understand the potential benefit from the programme of study, read and interpret ideas, communicate responses that are clear, logical and understandable and manage your own time. You will undertake critical reflection and evaluation and be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance/develop personal skills.

Those with little or no experience of using watercolour.
Watercolour Beginners is for those with little experience. It is important to note art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course. If you need to bring a carer with you or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak to the Programme Manager before you enrol.
