How will I be taught?
In a group and individual tuition
What do I need to bring with me?
You NEED to have a digital CAMERA.
You NEED to have a good working knowledge of using a Windows or Apple Mac PC, (with Windows, or Mac Operating System.)
A pen and paper to take appropriate notes. A folder or file to keep notes and handouts. Perhaps some of your own photos to show.
Use of a PC away from the college with image manipulation software of some kind installed is useful, but not necessary. As are a digital camera and memory drive to store images.
What can I do next?
This course can help in progression to further photographic, web or graphic design courses and work. You may wish to progress to a Foundation Degree in Photography at North Kent College. Contact the college on 0800 074 1447 or visit the website at http://www.northkent.ac.uk for further information.
What do I need to join the course
Some knowledge of SLR cameras or to have been on the SLR foundation course.
The course is aimed at those who have attended the SLR Foundation in Photography course, or those photographers who understand the essential functions of their SLR Cameras, having limited experience in photography, but seriously want to learn how to use technically creative skills to improve or change their images after taking them, to get the image they wanted.
It is ideal for those who want to become more creative or technically competent with their photography editing skills.
Some experience of photography and software similar to Photoshop Elements is needed.
