How will I be taught?
This course will be delivered online. Students will join the class from home and be able to exchange and in interact with other learners as they would in the classroom (speaking, listening, writing in the chat box). This measure is dictated by circumstances and the course will be delivered back in the classroom as soon as possible. Our tutors strive to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere where students can work at an appropriate pace. Teaching methods are varied, incorporate many styles including some one-to-one tuition and are adapted to enable students to achieve their full potential. If you have a disability and think it may affect your learning in the classroom, or using any of our other services, please speak to us in confidence as soon as possible. We will discuss options with you and do our best to provide the support you would like.Your tutor will assess your progress against the outcomes of he course and your own personal outcomes and will offer advice and guidance on how you are doing. You will also complete an ILP to record and monitor your progress and achievements.

What do I need to join the course
You should have a fair range of writing experience or have attended some similar courses/undertaken linked activities. Each of the three separate terms offered at this level are designed to help you go forward with your creative ideas and writing. Sharing work and then getting useful critique is an integral part of the course, though this is also supported by the tutor covering a broad range of approaches, tasks, ideas and styles for you to learn about then try.You can access the class from your computer equipped with a camera and a microphone, from a laptop (where the camera and microphone should be built-in), a tablet or a smartphone. Before each lesson, the tutor may send you by email essential lesson information/handouts for you to consult in advance, and before the class starts, the tutor will have sent you by email an invitation to join, which will be a simple weblink to click.
