How will I be taught?
Each workshop will commence with clear learning outcomes and usually a tutor demonstration, taking you step by step through the process.
One to one guidance and feedback is an essential part of learning and development, along with group discussions and informal critiques. You will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook/notebook to record goals, ideas, processes and progress.
Your Individual Learning Plan, ILP, will be sent to you by email to share with the tutor.
What do I need to bring with me?
You should have an A3 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper and a variety of pencils (HB and 2B are ideal) if you have them.
During the course you will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements.
What can I do next?
Other Art courses, perhaps a Drawing and Painting Advanced course to develop your skills even further.
What do I need to join the course
An interest and enthusiasm in learning to draw and paint - everyone is welcome to join this course who know the basics of painting and drawing and want to continue learning through a distance learning portal.
