About this course

So, how do you go about trying to pronounce Spanish correctly? This workshop in Gravesend will provide you with an opportunity to refine your Spanish pronunciation! This will improve your confidence in having conversations with Spanish speakers.

At the end of this short course successful students will:

- feel more confident in pronouncing Spanish vowels and difficult consonants
- identify and reproduce stress and accent marks
- Use appropriate intonation (rhythm, difference between statements, questions and exclamations, express emotions)

How will I be taught?

There will be individual, pair and group activities. The students will be taught how to correctly pronounce vowel and consonant sounds, contractions, pitch, tone, stress, intonation, pace and cadence.
You will receive oral feedback from your tutor.

What do I need to bring with me?

Notebook and pen. You can bring your tablet to record your voice.

What do I need to join the course

This course is for students who would like to improve their pronunciation and listening skills. It is a good complement to your regular Spanish class, and new students are very welcome too.
You will need to have studied the language at least at Beginners level and know the basics of the language.
