About this course

Creating and maintaining connections and relationships is a significant part of life. Having positive connections and relations can play a key role in our wellbeing.. For many people, including those diagnosed with a personality disorder, sometimes relationships, communicating with others, while looking after our own needs can present challenges.

This course provides an overview of what is meant by the term ‘personality disorder’, myth busting, challenging stigma, the diagnostic criteria; how personality difficulties may impact physical, mental and social wellbeing; and looks at what might help. We will also discuss lived experience and some helpful approaches to support those living with and managing the condition, as well as friends, family and people working in associated services.
