Closure of Deal Adult Education Centre

The Adult Education Centre (AEC) on Hamilton Road in Deal is now closed. Kent Adult Education remains committed to supporting learners in the area and ensuring continued access to high-quality learning opportunities. Once the building has closed, the nearest main centre will be Dover Discovery Centre. This centre has recently undergone refurbishment and offers improved facilities and a welcoming learning environment for adult learners.

Kent Adult Education will also continue to deliver community-based classes in Deal and nearby areas where learner need is identified, helping to ensure that learning remains accessible locally.

Learners currently studying at Deal Adult Education, or those considering future courses will be supported with information and guidance on alternative provision, including courses available at Dover Discovery Centre and in community settings.
