At Kent Adult Education (KAE), we believe learning has the power to transform lives. Kent Adult Education offers a wide range of free learning opportunities in our Dover Adult Education Centre, and community venues and adult education centres across Kent.

Our courses support learners through high-quality learning opportunities delivered by experienced tutors in welcoming and inclusive environments. Whatever your starting point, we'll help you take the next step on your learning journey.

From our Dover centre, you can access courses designed to support personal development, career progression, wellbeing and lifelong learning.

Reception Opening Times

Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9am - 1pm

Wednesday and Thursday Closed

Please note that the times above are our reception opening hours. Some courses may run outside of these times, so please check your course information for the exact dates and times of your classes.

  • Water dispensers are available
  • The town centre is located just outside the adult education centre
  • Kent Adult Education reception is on the second floor
  • Accessible toilets are available on the ground floor and within our corridor on the 2nd floor
  • A wheelchair ramp is available to access the centre from Market Square
  • Accessible lift is available

If you have accessibility requirements, please speak to a member of our Learner Experience team. You can contact us here ahead of your visit to our centre.

Nearest parking:

Nearest parking is available at Albany Place and St James Shopping Centre.

Train:

The nearest train station is Dover Priory. Dover Priory railway station is a 10 minute walk from the centre.
