As a learner in CLS, you are entitled to:

  • Be treated with respect, dignity, and fairness at all times
  • Feel safe and protected from all forms of abuse
  • Clear and accessible communication from CLS
  • Support for additional learning needs, including reasonable adjustments where required
  • Accurate and complete course information, fees, costs and financial support
  • Experienced and qualified tutors
  • An individual learning plan to track your progress with feedback
  • The opportunity to provide feedback and contribute to improving the service
  • Complaints to be handled promptly, fairly, and sensitively

As a learner with CLS, you are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect, courtesy, and consideration
  • Behave in line with British Values
  • Avoid any behaviour or language that may be offensive or discriminatory
  • Attend regularly, be punctual, and notify absence in advance where possible, including the reason for absence
  • Catch up on missed work and fully participate in learning activities
  • Complete and submit work on time and ensuring it is your own
  • Report any concerns relating to Health and Safety, Safeguarding or Prevent to a member of staff
  • Pay all required fees and charges on time
  • Inform CLS of any additional learning needs or disabilities
  • Keep mobile phones on silent during sessions
  • Do not film or record without prior written permission
  • Dress appropriately
