Discover the Response Programme: Empowering Adults Across Kent to Learn, Grow and Thrive
Response is a specialist programme at Kent Adult Education, working with a range of partners including community groups, charities and other organisations to provide first step opportunities and work-related short courses designed to help you gain employment, become a successful volunteer or to restart your journey into further learning. You are welcome to join a Response course if you are aged 19 or over and low waged or unwaged.
Response offers free, practical courses that help learners build confidence, gain essential skills and take positive steps toward employment, volunteering or further education. Whether you're looking to change careers, return or enter into work, Response provides a welcoming and supportive environment to help you move forward.

Who is Response For?
Response is ideal for you if you:
- Are aged 19 or over
- Live in Kent
- Are unemployed or in low-paid work
- Want to improve your skills or confidence
- Are ready to take the next step into work, volunteering or further learning
We work closely with local partners and community organisations to ensure our courses are accessible, relevant and tailored to meet your needs.

- Construction & Manual Work - CSCS card preparation, health & safety, manual handling
