Introduction to Teaching Assistant course. Course will prepare for further studies.

Teaching assistant courses are designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to support teachers and enhance student learning in various educational settings. This course will introduce to develop critical skills such as communication, classroom management, and understanding diverse learning needs.

This course is scheduled to not be running on the following dates:

  • Friday, 29 May 2026
  • Friday, 03 April 2026

From 1st August 2024, the Department for Education (DfE) require that learners attending this course must identify their primary purpose for learning. This course is not available for learners whose main aim is to learn a hobby, or for leisure/pleasure.

Assessment is needed before joining this course. Please contact your local centre to complete an application. Entry requirement: English at Entry 3 level or above.
