Margate Adult Education Centre, formerly an art college, is a landmark building located on Hawley Square in the centre of town and is easily accessible on various local bus routes.

It is known for its Life Drawing courses and has a fully equipped silversmithing studio.

Following the Government's recent announcement regarding the easing of lockdown restrictions, our Margate centre re-opened on 8th March 2021. Please note: centres will only be open when courses are running. If you would like to enrol on a course in person, please call us on 03000 41 40 25* before attempting to visit to ensure we are open.
