Who can join this course

Students interested in how to manipulate images using availiable software. This could be a job related image manipulation or just for family and friends.

Is this course for me

Learn how to transform and enhance photos you have taken to create engaging images. This course will use a digital photo app to give you an introduction to simple and yet effective post production techniques to make them look professional. We will also look at what other software packages are available.

Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* Use a digital imaging package to open and resize a photograph of your choice
* Use 3 tools within the software to alter your image
* Save and export an image for publishing in a range of formats
* Explain the health and safety considerations for all resources and tools used

Additional Information

From 1st August 2024, the Department for Education (DfE) require that learners attending this course must identify their primary purpose for learning. This course is not available for learners whose main aim is to learn a hobby, or for leisure/pleasure.
