Who can join this course

ESOL courses are available for UK or Irish nationals, or EEA nationals with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme and those who have lived in the UK for at least three years.
If you do not currently meet this criteria, you may still be able to attend our ESOL courses if you have an eligible residency status, you will be required to provide further details regarding your status before you can be enrolled.

Acceptance on a KAE Skills ESOL course does not constitute an immigration sponsorship and no Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) certificate will be issued.

Before enrolling on an ESOL course you will need to complete an initial assessment. Please book an interview at your local centre.

We make every effort to keep our prices as low as possible and therefore regret that we cannot return payments to students who withdraw from a course. When you enrol, please understand that you are agreeing to pay the total price for the whole course, including all outstanding balances should you withdraw.

You may be eligible for a discount of your course fees; this will be dependent on your individual earnings and employment status. This will be discussed with you at your interview. British Citizenship Test is to encourage people applying to settle in the United Kingdom permanently to learn more about UK society: its rich culture, traditions, structures and ways of life. If you are applying for settlement, this course would help with preparation for the Life in UK Test.
