Who can join this course

This course is ideal for learners who have previously completed a Level 1 Manual Bookkeeping course, either with Kent Adult Education or another provider. If you’ve studied bookkeeping elsewhere, we recommend completing a short initial assessment to ensure this Level 2 course is the right fit for you. You can access the assessment here: Initial Assessment Form, or contact your local adult education centre for guidance.

If you have not yet studied manual bookkeeping, we recommend starting with the Level 1 course to build the foundational knowledge needed for success at Level 2.

This course is suitable for:

- Learners preparing for employment in bookkeeping or finance roles
- Individuals already working in bookkeeping or data processing roles who want to formalise or enhance their skills
- Those looking to progress to higher-level bookkeeping or accountancy qualifications

As this is an online course, you will need:

- Basic computing skills to navigate the virtual classroom and complete computer-based exams
- The ability to follow spoken and written instructions, read course materials, and participate in group discussions.
