The tutor will use a range of teaching methods and resources during the course which will include the following:

• Practical demonstrations, these will be both group and individual
• Showing samples of previously completed projects, looking at work of other craftspeople and artists
• One to one guidance and tuition
• Group discussions and critiques
• Question and answer sessions

Your tutor will continuously check your progress and you will receive feedback and support during the course.

Please bring with you:

A pencil and sketchbook.
All glass fusing matierials will be provided.
Any design ideas you have found for inspiration.





Health and Safety:
You must wear closed toe shoes.
All masks, gloves and ear defenders will be supplied if required.
Drinks are not permitted in the studio due to the possible risk of contamination.

Courses are designed to progress students to higher levels of the craft and to support application to Access to Art and Degree Foundation courses or relevant Craft, Art and Design Degree courses. For more information, please go to www.kentadulteducation.co.uk


You may also wish to try some related courses such as jewellery and pottery, where glass techniques can be combined with these subjects.

Everyone is welcome, but some previous experience of glass cutting is useful.

As this is a practical course, a degree of manual dexterity is required.
