A Day of Spoon Carving

This one-day course will teach you the fundamentals of spoon carving. You will leave the course with a spoon carved by your very own hands, along with knowledge on the tools and techniques involved, grain direction, suitable wood types for carving and how best to polish a finished project.
This course is designed as an introduction to spoon carving, providing you with the knowledge to go onto make your own designs.

By the end of the course you should be able to:

-How to plan out a spoon carving
-Understand tool sharpening techniques
-How to carve a spoon
-How to polish a finished project
