Craft courses provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop skills and techniques. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques. Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople. You and your tutor will monitor and assess your progress throughout the course to ensure your learning needs are being met.
There are no formal exams or tests to complete on this course.

You will need to supply your own cake and icing etc, a list of what to bring will be available shortly, please ensure we have your current email address to forward these to you.

You can attend further Beginners courses which will cover additional skills at beginners level and use those you have already learned in different ways to help perfect them or progress to Improvers courses. You may also be interested in progressing on to the NCFE Level 2 Award next year.

This course is suitable for anyone who has attended a beginners course or has prior cake decorating experience.
