Tonbridge - Adult Education

A course for those with some experience of creative writing. Perhaps you have a work in progress, or are looking for fresh ideas. This course will focus on inspiring you as well as giving you technical guidance. Weekly exercises will help you to form a regular writing habit. There is an expectation that you will share your writing in class and learn to give and receive constructive feedback in a supportive way. The course can support prose fiction, poetry, and non-fiction forms of writing.

In the course you will:
i. Learn and practice new skills and techniques.
ii. Produce and share work.
iii. Extend and explore your writing skills.
iv. Give and receive constructive feedback in a supportive way.

How will I be taught?

Each session will include selected readings, discussion, tutor input, writing tasks and peer review. Each week you will be set a task to do over the week., You will be given oral and written feedback from the tutor, oral feedback from peer review, and opportunities to self-assess throughout the course. You can manage your progress through your Individual Learning Plan which will record your achievements. , ,
