Courses provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop skills, technique. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, and one-to-one tutorial guidance. It is important to note that craft courses are practical, requiring a degree of manual dexterity. Students will need to participate fully to get the most out of the course. Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople.

You will need to bring a 4mm crochet hook (though there will be crochet hooks to use at the lesson) and a selection of DK yarn. There will be yarn to purchase at the first lesson, at a cost of no more than £2 cash payable to the tutor direct, and the tutor will give advice at the first lesson. on the yarn needed for the projects we will be covering

During your course, your tutor will offer guidance in your personal progression route.
Courses are designed to progress students to higher levels of the craft. In addition, our courses support application to "Access to Degree Foundation courses" leading to Higher Education opportunities.
