This course is delivered online.
Digital Functional Skills is delivered at Entry level 3/ level 1. It is a new course that will enable learners to demonstrate the ability to apply ICT knowledge and the skills to complete tasks in real-life contexts. Learners will use the applications such as Word, Excel, email and internet browsing on a local machine and will gain confidence in use of the knowledge and digital skills in a safe and responsible way.

Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Mahjabeen Chand
Mahjabeen Chand is a qualified maths teacher teaching Functional Skills maths and Essential Digital Skills.
Her wider experience includes ESOL and GCSE maths. She identifies a learner's strengths and helps build on these, encouraging progression and independence.
Mahjabeen provides interesting and challenging learning opportunities to help you fulfil your personal learning and life goals.
How will I be taught?
This course will be delivered in a friendly environment online via zoom.
The assessment is a combination of practical tasks and knowledge-based questions under exam conditions and will take place in a physical / face to face environment.
You will be awarded a Digital Functional Skills Qualification ( DFSQ) on successful achievement of assessment.
What do I need to have with me?
You will need to have a PC / laptop ( with Microsoft Office software) Pls note you will NOT be able to use your phone for this course.
What do I need to join the course
Everyone is welcome to join this course. Some previous skills and knowledge is necessary and there will be an Initial Assessment before you start the course. Have a chat with one of Customer Relations team for advice and guidance.
