This course has started, but it may still be possible to join it. Please call 03000 41 22 22* and ask to be put through to the Centre where the course is running
The Improvers course is aimed at those who have already completed the Beginners course in Digital Photography but is also open to those who have some (though not necessarily extensive) experience with their cameras or photography. The course picks up on the fundamentals of technical photography, specifically focussing on Metering Techniques, Composition and placing photography within historical context.
You will be introduced to three key areas of photography: Style, Subject and Meaning. These three areas encompass much of what we do in photography and you will be encouraged to engage with them in meaningful ways. You will be given projects to work on during the course that will enable you to develop individual image making.
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- use your camera more confidently
- understand more about functions and settings
- use photography techniques to take better pictures
- use more functions in the software to manipulate your pictures
Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Dai Noble
